Sat. Mar 17                  Plant sugar snap peas and onions

Sun. Mar 18                 Work day to prep for the season (wood chips and weed control)

Sun. April 1                  Work day- mulching for weed control

Sat. April 14                Open Table Mishnah Garden Discussion

Mon. April 30             Work day- finish mulching for weed control (6-8pm)

Sat. May 12                 Plant tomatoes, cucumbers

May 20                         Derekh ha’etz** and A.S. Annual Meeting

Sat. June 16                 Winter wheat harvest, place vegetable signs

Sat. June 30                Harvest and plant warm season plants, cleanup weeds

Sat. July-Sept             Harvest Hosts lead weekly harvests & deliveries to Manna

Sun. Aug. 26               Community-wide Garden Festival Day!

Sat. Sept. 22                Shabbat Breirot*

*Shabbat Breirot are alternative ways to observe Shabbat in addition to our traditional service, where we will offer a bit of Jewish learning and time to garden during Sat morning

**There will be a celebration of Derekh Ha’etz (the new nature trail) preceding the annual meeting. We will celebrate garden stations along the trail, connecting each station to a book of the Torah.  The Mishnah Garden will represent the Book of Exodus where our oldest experiences were agricultural and our oldest laws including peah and leket prescribe how we grow food.
